Born in Rome in 1961, make first underwater experiences at 6 years old, dictated from the familiar passion for the sea. Successively consolidates the vocation for the marine atmosphere achieving the bachelor in Biology with a thesis in Acquacolture and Marine Biology. At first, project-clerk of the Lazio Region, Stabilimento Ittiogenico of Rome, now consultant and specialized in fishing and environmental management of sea and freshwaters resources.
The passion for photography, initially oriented in terrestrial reportages, comes increased to the horizons of underwater atmosphere.
Student of Settimio Cipriani, professional world-wide Underwater Photographer, approachs shooting at first with non-reflex cameras and successively with reflex-housings for analogic and digital, maturing the transmitted indispensable experience from the technical of different shootings. In the numerous underwater travels in Mediterranean Sea and in Tropical waters, (Indian Ocean, Papua New Guinea, Indopacific Ocean, Red Sea, Caraibic Sea,..) it collects a great amount of shoots of differents species, with biological and documentary environments that are part of hits wide photographic archive. Recently has inserted its name in some of the most important international underwater photographic competitions.
